Industrial Relays
Altech Industrial & Interface Relays include electromechanical, miniature, slimline, and bistable options with DIN rail or socket mounting, LED indicators, and contact flexibility.
Altech Industrial Relays span a wide offering: from photovoltaic/EV relays (RS series) to full-featured electromagnetic relays (R2, R3, R4 series and variants), miniature relays (RM series), slimline interface relays (RM699B, RSR30), and subminiature/special modules (PI6, PIR6W, etc.).
One notable innovation is their bistable (energy-saving) relay series (R2B, R3B, R4B), which require power only to switch states and hold their position magnetically without continuous coil energization.
Key features and capabilities include:
- Wide variety of contact configurations (DPDT, 3PDT, 4PDT)
- AC and DC coil voltages, from low volts up into 220 V DC or higher
- Optional LED indicators, test buttons, and versions with built-in surge suppression (diode or varistor)
- Use of cadmium-free, silver-nickel (AgNi) contact materials for better environmental compliance and durability
- DIN-rail or plug-in socket mounting options for flexible installation
- Support for UL and CSA recognition, and compliance with RoHS2 / REACH environmental standards
Altech’s industrial relays cater to applications in automation, control systems, safety circuits, power switching, and more—offering both conventional and advanced relay types to meet diverse design and performance needs.

Subminiature Electromagnetic and Solid State Modules

Subminiature electromagnetic relays are used for PLC systems and industrial automation applications, panel builders, equipment builders and other applications that require a high switching capability in a small space. The Altech slim line interface relays can be used as a universal interface between the controller and the actuator to switch loads between 1 mA and 6A. They are available with electromechanical contacts or solid state configuration. Installation time is greatly reduced when a pre-assembled relays and sockets combination is used. Replacement relays and sockets are available from stock. Additional accessories include colored coded jumpers, spacers and markers (unmarked or marked based on the customer specification) for identification purposes.

Miniature Electromagnetic Relays

Compact relays with general application, featuring cadmium-free contacts and AC/DC coils. These relays can be used with plug-in sockets, mounted on a 35 mm rail, or on a panel. They come with standard features such as a mechanical indicator and a lockable front test button. Additionally, relays can be equipped with test buttons (without latching) and plugs. These relays adhere to the railway standards set by AUCOTEAM GmbH Berlin.
Bistable Relays

The R2B, R3B, and R4B bistable relays expand the R2, R3, and R4 family with energy-saving functionality. Unlike traditional relays that require continuous coil power, these bistable relays only use energy during switching, maintaining two stable states (open or closed). They are compatible with R2N, R3N, and R4N sockets, operate on DC supply, and feature permanent magnet design for continuous operation.
Applications include:
Industrial automation (motors, pumps, equipment)
Lighting control (single-pulse switching)
Building management (curtains, doors, appliances)
HVAC (fans, dampers, components)
Remote control systems
Timer-based applications
