The enclosures of the AL Series are constructed of cast aluminum material. The enclosure base and cover are connected with pre-mounted, stainless steel cover screws (compatible with both Phillips and straight blade screwdrivers). The foam seal in the key/slot system guarantees an IP65 ingress protection and long lasting service life. A high quality coating covers and protects the enclosure from weather and corrosion. Several international safety certificates insure the overall quality of the AL Series.
The complete series of 24 enclosures ranges from 50x45x30mm to 388x270x117mm.
The exterior of the enclosure is protected by powder coating (silver-gray - RAL 7001) and combines an elegant appearance with outstanding protection against corrosion.
The enclosure material (Al Si 12) ensures both a high degree of impact resistance (>7Nm, DIN 50014) and continued operation in extreme temperatures.

The specially designed AL Series accessories make the AL Enclosures flexible and highly secure.
The external fastening clamps allow for solid and safe wall mounting of the AL Enclosures. The installation of the clamps to the enclosure can be varied up to 90 degrees. Through the use of outer hinges, the covers of the AL Series can be converted into hinged doors. This is especially useful when devices such as push-button systems are integrated into the enclosure. The external hinges, constructed of cast aluminum can be swiveled up to 150 degrees.
With the help of the steel mounting plates, even large and heavy components can be securely mounted. The mounting plates are available from enclosures AL 88-6 and larger.
